Great academics, close to home but not too close, friends are going here, many relatives attended here and cheap tuition are all things that played a role in my decision making on attending Wright State University. And now that I am here there are many other things that I didn't even know of that would have been able to attract me to come here as well.
As I toured the state for colleges for me to attend, Wright State stuck out to me like a sore thumb. With my intended major being accounting, the accounting program here blew me away. Hearing some of the things the accountant students get to participate in and seeing some of the cool classrooms like the stocks room really caught my eye. Not to mention Wright State has one of the most prestigious accounting programs in the state. Also my cousin who attended here a few years back holds an accounting agency in Springfield which I plan on interning for and hopefully working for in the future.
Another thing that got me to attend Wright State was the great campus and housing. The campus' building and classroom were one of the top ones that i seen throughout all of my college visits. Also Wright State was the only school around that had accessible underground tunnels to get you to every building on campus during the bad weather. Also the housing was by the best housing units I went to. Some of the other campus' I attended had nasty looking building with crappy dorm rooms, then i came to Wright State and everything looked very clean and the rooms are very spacious.
Lastly, the final reason I attended Wright State was the pricing. Going into college you have to see what suits you then best and then compare prices. Besides little colleges, Wright State had the best price available for my academic needs. With a small tuition fee and a great academic program, Wright State University was nearly impossible to turn down.
I agree that the accounting program here at WSU is an excellent program, and that played a big part in me deciding to come to WSU as well.
